France 2019

A busy first six months.  So happy to return for about the tenth time to our regular homeowners who have become dear friends.  We felt so privileged to spend Christmas in their beautiful home with the fire burning in the old stone fireplace,  watching winter from the warmth and comfort of this very special place.

We have cared for the dearest little spaniel who has arrived to bless the lives of his adoring owners.  We used to sit for them a few years back and it was great to return.

From then on, it has been a succession of cats.  Cats who view us as staff and cats who see us a laps to be occupied.  We love them all and are always glad to return again and again to enjoy their company.

It is now July and we are enjoying a few weeks at our home base in the Languedoc Roussillon where we have up until now been keeping an eye on the fascinating Chateau de La Fare when not sitting, but now that the owners have moved to France permanently, we can lay down the hose pipes and grass rakes and start out on a new series of adventures.
