France 2022

A Happy New Year to you all and let us hope that by the end of this one, we will have worked out a way to live with covid in the same way that we live with the flu.

We started 2022 in company with Princess Agapanthus followed by a spell with the delightful Curly Cat and then off to spend a couple of weeks with His Nibs.  It seems as though we have definitely moved into cat country, but we are just about to have a couple of weeks with our friend Masa the dog.  Just as well as we will have to get out and do some walking.

We have left our apartment at the Chateau de la Fare near Cendras and are keeping an eye out for a pied a terre for when we aren't sitting, but for now, just about the whole of 2022 is booked up so all our possessions are in a storage unit and once again we are travelling light.

Watch out Australia!  We are visiting family in Victoria for two months in Mid October.
After a five year gap, it can't come soon enough.

Delighted to have been offered a house sit on the edge of the fascinating town of Ballarat while we are in Australia.  It's just for a week but will give us three more delightful cats to get to know and access to a lot of history.

Sadly the airline messed up our plans by cancelling one sector of our flight.  We now live in hope that the gang will make its' way to us instead.  Such a shame as we were offered two wonderful housesits while we were there, one of which was at the foot of Hanging Rock and the other in the old Gold Rush town.

Quite the sweetest dog we have ever cared for.
An unexpected but very happy sit in the beautiful Var region.
