I can't quite get my head around the fact that it is already 2023. Christmas was spent at one of our favourite regular sits in company with His Nibs - the cat who came in from the cold when Covid started and who has definitely got his paws under the table. In addition to some lovely walks, we have our feet up and enjoy the log fire while we wait for Spring to re-appear.
We have just had our fifth covid jab and so far we have avoided the lurgy. We happily keep to ourselves and enjoy the company of whichever pets we are caring for and are delighted that all our sits are country based.
Our calendar for the year is already filling up and amidst it all are two exciting visits from the family in Australia. It is six years since we have seen them and they can't get here soon enough.

This lovely bunch belong to dear friends that we visited in the Charente Maritime.

All rescue dogs and very much loved by their new owners.
Off to the Pyrenees for a month in October/November caring for the most beautiful and lovable Golden Retriever along with a rather shy but very sweet cat.
We even managed a few days across the border in Northern Spain with a quick look at St Sebastien before the rain arrived.
Back to one of our favourites for Christmas and New Year
And so we come to the end of yet another wonderful year
meeting new furry friends and returning to old friends - both human and furry.
